Paint that shifts color as you view it from different angles is normally seen on automobiles, not wall paneling, however the designer for BHP envisioned a wall that truly changed colors as the time of day shifts and one moves through the space. This was one of those distinctive jobs where you develop and master skills that you are unlikely to utilize again in the near future if ever. Not only did we have to learn to use a color shifting automotive paint, we had to apply this finish on curved panels from which we carved a giant version of the customer’s logo. Another challenging part of the job was transforming a deep sea drilling bit into a beautiful work of art. Customers often seek out Brochsteins to fabricate highly unique designs.
