The Ritz Carlton Charlotte sought and achieved LEED Gold certification. To assist with the FSC credit Brochsteins worked closely with veneer suppliers to obtain the first FSC Sapele to arrive in the United States, a challenging prospect considering over 400,000 square feet of veneer was required. The aesthetic had to be approved and material had to be on hand a year before it was actually needed for fabrication. While Brochsteins fabricated the public areas only, to ensure consistency across suppliers we assisted in the procurement of the veneer for other areas as well.
